The yellow capsule like particle in your mother's vomitus may be a medicine- she had eaten -which had changed colour and consistency and shape --due to action of gastric juices; some food item which she had eaten--having changes in colour shape and texture due to action of gastric juices or some thick piece of yellow sputum in her respiratory tract which was drawn out with the vomitus due to the force of vomiting.
