I am having vaginal infection. And it happened after one week of intercourse. Infection happened 2 times. Then I was prescribed fas 3 kit for both the partners and some other medicines for me. If medicines taken properly by both the partners will it reoccur again. As it recurrent from last 2 times. But this time medicines are also taken by my husband. Can we have safe intercourse without using protection after the medicine course completion. Please guide. Will the problem of infection solve after this medicine from both the sides. Or what extra care should be taken for unprotected sex.

It only cures infection does not prevent future infection. However if both are treated and both have proper effects on them of medicines and if infection is cured for both chance of reinfection is very low. Not using protection is only if you are planning for pregnancy.
