He always makes excuses to eat food. Eat only half chapati with sweet curd hardly in a whole day. Doesn't eat any vegetables. So I give him liquid fluid like lemon water, watermelon juice and fruit shake. His weight is 30 kg and he is 4. Yrs 6 months old. I consult pediatrician of maharaja agrasen hospital he said" don't force him to eat food. If he doesn't want to eat let it be. Do not give anything else" I tried this two days he is happy that I am not forcing him to eat and on the same he was not hungry too. So what can I do so that he starts eating on his own.

Most children refuse to eat foods and do not force feed instead keep the foods he likes within his reach and encourage to eat lovingly and give compliments while he eats. Make eating a pleasurable event and happy experience. Do not bottlefeed ever
