I am having itching and pain on scrotum for which skin specialist has given me medicines. Even after 2 weeks my condition has not improved. My scrotum has become too dry. Is it because of moisturizer which I apply. After few hrs of applying moisturizer my hand skin gets too dry is my scrotum skin also getting dry due to it. I raised this concern to the skin doctor who consults me. He told he can only advice if I do not feel good then do not use moisturizer. I have stopped applying moisturizer due to which my hand skin has become too dry. I think the same has happened with my scrotum skin which is causing pain. How to keep scrotum skin naturally moisturized since it is a sensitive part of the body. Also I am having intense scrotum pain when I sleep it gets better when I stand up. Is it because of hernia. I asked this also to skin specialist to which he said I do not have hernia.

Please do not delay. Visit a trained professional such as dermatologist / surgeon / infectious disease specialist. The scrotal infections tend to spread fast and can lead to cellulitis as well. Do not take this lightly.
