Let's chat! we'll reply as soon as we can 7: 27 pm hi, I am meghashree having a 48 days baby. In a first week of delivery my breast milk supply was very good, but when my child got hospitalized due to jaundice for 3 days in that stress gradually breast milk supply came down. Since there is no proper flow of milk she sucks for 3 to 4 times and leaves the nipple and cries. So I started to pump my breast while she is suckling, I don't know whether it is right or not. I started to take lactare capsules and granules but still I am unable to increase my supply as before. This is my second child. I fed my first child for 18 months without any complaints. Why this is happening with my second child I really don't understand. Please tell me how to overcome this issue.

You need to feed your baby every 1-2 hrly this will help in increasing your breast milk production. Do not use bottle feeding as it would decrease her tendency for breastfeeding. Do not take stress stay calm and happy as that will also help in increasing milk production besides all measures you are already taking.
