Hi my daughter in 3 years old she was complaining about ear so we go to ent specialist he said he has small boil in her yer hand prescribed distaclor 125 mg n ibuprofen medicine but after giving from next she get fever which is coming n going pls let me is the side effects of medicine or I should again consult our pediatrician.

Hi. No it?s not the side effect of medicine. Distaclor is an antibiotic and ibuprofen is for fever and pain and shld take away these symptoms rather. Pls take the kid to a pediatrician so that he or she can examine properly where else problem can be and can give proper dose of antibiotics and painkiller and fever medication to the child as per age and weight. Thanks.

The boil must have been infective which is causing fever. You should complete the course of prescribed antibiotic which would help in subsiding the infection.
