From the last 15 days my 2 month old daughter is having motions some times loose some times normal, she is fed on similac 1 and we have consulted many doctors in these days, antibiotics and econorm all treatments we did. But yet after all the treatment on average, she is having 7 motions in 24 hours. Is it normal?

Yes, 5-8 stools per day is pretty normal. One thing you can do to distinguish from diarrhea. Look for diaper blowout and colour of stool, if it’s white, red or black it’s a matter a concern for you.

For a 2 mth old passing stools 7-8 times a day to passing once in 7 days is normal unless your child is active, accepting feeds, passing urine 6-7 times a day & stools are non foul smelling & non blood stained.
