Hi, my son is now 3 months old, when I breastfeed him he would cry as if his not getting enough, even crying with the nipple in his mouth I then decided to give him lactogen formula. However my 1 breast still get full. Can feed him on the breast and give the lactogen formula?

In case if breast is full then there is no question of inadequate milk for baby. Even when you don't feel that breast is full but whenever baby sucks on breast there is milk production at that time. Try to breast feed as much as you can. Yes you can also give formula milk along with it. Take due care if proper senitization of feeding bottles too.

Give him exclusive breast feeding till 6 month and continue breast feeding plus cereals till atleast 2 years of age. I think your feeding technique is faulty. You should sit in comfortable position. Nipple along with areola should be in side child's mouth. Lips should be everted. If breast is already ingorged then squiz breast to express some milk before breast feeding, because ingorged breast is hard so child will not be able to take feed. Expressed milk can be fed with katoory spoon.

Yes you can definitely breastfeed him, ideally exclusive breastfeeding should be practiced upto 6 months. Since you have started formula milk (might be through bottle) therefore he prefers to use that mode rather than breastfeeding as it requires more energy consumption by baby.
