I'm suffering from IBS. Also I have dysentery from my childhood. When take medicine I feel good but without medicine the problem arise again. How it will cure? Give me solution. Can I eat sweet, egg, chicken, curd. Please help.

Ibs is due to alteration in neurological and gut co ordination. Ibs before being pronounced to a patient needs to be diagnosed correctly because there are many colonic diseases which mimics ibs. But once diagnosed, one need to be calm, stress free, change unhealthy to healthy lifestyle, avoid food which causes diarrhea/ constipation and be on supportive medications prescribed by clinician. One also need to have a follow up.
