I have an abscess on my buttock for the past two days. I have been cleaning it regularly with betadine and dettol. I am also applying mupirocin ointment on it. Puss has started draining from most of it since yesterday, but still I can feel some puss inside. The skin around it has mostly turned black and started peeling off with new skin coming under it. Should I take oral amoxicillin/any other antibiotic? I can feel another similar infection starting to develop close to the area.
