Age 29, weight 82 kg, height 6 ft, unmarried.in feb 2022, barber saw a alopecia patch at the back of my head. I applied tacrolimus for 1 month but got no result and then applied some desi nuskhas and found some hair growth but not all and now I developed another patch on boundary line of it and looses hair around its boundary and also used to loose hair all over head. I am loosing around 100-150 hairs daily and loosing more head on side and frontal hair. I had been vitamin d and b12 deficient in past but no they are in limit but I used to feel pain I thigh bones and chest bones. How to stop my hair fall ,i am very depressed. I just started taking folly hair tablet and biotin. Please help.

Hello lybrate-user! your condition is known as alopecia areata. It is an autoimmune condition in which your immune system attack your own hair follicles resulting bald patches. Sometimes it gets better without any treatment. The only treatment available for this condition is injectable steroids around the bald patches and anti inflammatory tablets for which you need to consult a trichologist. Sometimes stress may trigger the condition so try to reduce your stress by doing things which makes you happy and focus on other good things. Be positive and keep patience. For general hair loss you need to undergo a blood test to rule out any nutritional deficiency. Have a nutritious balanced protein rich diet. Include fruits and nuts. Consult a trichologist for further details and treatment.
