Hi doctor, my baby girl is of 3 years old and she is having fever from past 7 days with ear pain and chest pain when she coughs and sneezes. Doctor have given antibiotics and other medications .when I use the syrups no fever at all I used for three days continuously so no fever and I stopped using it then within three hours again she got fever. Doctor told that she is having light pneumonia so suggested to use nebulizer we have used that too. Now wht is the reason for these illness .i am using pediasure as a nutritional supplement. Is it because of that .please help me. Give your suggestions, please.

Nutritional supplements is not the cause. Her immune is weak. now when you give antibiotics, it spoils the immune system more as it don't have to fight at all. next time when she gets infected, her immune system will wait for the antibiotics.. second when you use syrup which contains paracetamol it reduces the body temperature while it has no effect on the cause of infection. that's why fever returns once its action gets weaker.. I suggest to take Homoeopathic treatment for faster recovery and better future health.
