My nephew has appendicular lump ,diagnosed on 10th july ,he is on iv antibiotics augmentin and metrogyl tds .he is eating .no complain of abdominal pain, vomiting ,fever etc. So I want to know that abdominal lump can resolve with antibiotics or not. Doctor advised him to take antibiotics for 14 days.

Hello yes.... if he is improving and his signs are regressing with treatment that means he is responding well and will improve... He may need further evaluation once lump resolves and may need interval appendicectomy after 6 weeks.. Regards
