Sir I treatment my wife in your undertaking. She has some problem. Medicine which you prescribed were lithosun 300 & citapure forte. But when I want intercourse with her she felt guilty. She says to me that she don't like sex. In this circumstances what am I doing? I am also very depressed.

Citapure forte which you have mentioned can reduce sexual desire and interest. You need to consult a psychiatrist and get it changed. Good luck.

Yes, she may feel low sex drive in her condition. You can both visit a sexologist and s/he will guide you as to how to proceed. Essentially, you need to give her more time, and even if you want to approach her sexually, you must indulge in a lot of foreplay and gradually increase her need for sex by stimulating her in the right way. If she feels aroused well, she will also want to have sex. You must be patient, loving and kind to her to make her also want sex. If you pressure her without foreplay. She will completely come off of the desire. If you are patient and arouse her sexually, you can both have normal sex soon. Also, I hope that both of you do daily exercise and are on a fitness program.

Dear lybrate-user, please discuss your problem with your treating psychiatrist. There could be many reasons for refusing sex. Your wife might be in depression where she does not enjoy sex. Citapure may cause some side effect that she doesn't like sex. She may have other social reasons for refusing. She may be even afraid of pregnancy since she is on lithosun that might sometimes harm her child in the womb.
