Hello- yes it is harmful as it increases the bad cholesterol in the body thus increase blood pressure in patients, moreover egg yolk is hard to digest so it causes indigestion and again causes blood pressure to shoot up in prolonged intake.

Eggs have more protein and it have been seen that this protein decreases blood pressure. However, egg yolk has saturated fatty acids which increases cholesterol thus increasing blood pressure. Thus if you are a patient of blood pressure, don't take too much eggs although you can take one egg daily.
