I am diabetic. I am using metformin gluconorm 500mg. I am doing Brest feeding also. I just want 2 know that whether this tablet effect any thing to my baby. She is 2 month only.

Metformin does reach the baby. It is not advisable. Try to control with regular walk taking only salad. At night. To control sugar. Otherwise insulin is better.

Lybrate-user, taking metformin while breast feeding the baby, produces no effects on baby's blood glucose level.
