I have been suffering acid reflux past 2 years. 1 year endoscopy done found that LAX LES. After report doctor prescribed me PPI. Taken 3 months superia l. Every once in a week one tablet is taking else acidity is worse. My doctor suggest that can have a tablet superia l whenever acidity getting worse. Is this safe to take single tablet in a week.

Along with medication, start exercising regularly for at least 45 mins everyday. Avoid eating complex food stuff like fast food and oily greasy food. Do not stay empty stomach for more than 3 hours. Do not lie down immediately after meals, at least for an hour.

Acid reflux. Will recur. This is a condition where on demand medication is allowed. So better to take whenever needed. No problem in taking intermittently.
