I was having severe dandruff, itchy scalp and whenever I rub my head white and yellowish flakes starts falling, I thought it was simple dandruff and tried so many shampoos but still my scalp is itchy and I think it's causing hair fall too. Please help. I have tried ketoconazole shampooitrocap tablets terbinafine tablets and salicylic acid and coal tar shampoo but didn't get any results.

Hi, your scalp needs to be examined to rule out dry scalp conditions which are treated with stronger medicines. Ketoconazole shampoo helps in treatment of dandruff. Avoid oiling your scalp. Use a mild shampoo like triclenz first and anti dandruff shampoo later. Do see your local dermatologist or consult online for further assessment and advice.
