Rabies is a disease of animals mainly seen in warm blooded and mammals. Rabies virus is destroyed if cooked under 160 degrees fahrenheit. Or exposure at room temperature for few hours. For this infection animal like rabies dog has to bite the hen. Then not cooked at 160 degrees. Then spread through some abrasion etc in mouth cavity. How did you know chicken in your plate had rabies. Then you might suspect anything in your food, plant or animal is contaminated by rabies saliva or soft parts. If you have confirmed that chicken was infected by a rabied dog bite, consider taking 5 doses of ant rabies vaccine in consultation with a physician or surgeon. You have advantage of pre exposure immunity plus reassurance in present problem.
