I am a 21 year old female who has been experiencing a sharp pain under my left breast. It used to happen on rare occasion but this past week it was been happening roughly 4 times a day. When I feel the pain I am typically doing no activity, and taking deep breaths makes it worse. Laying down on my side sometimes makes it feel better until the pain passes. I am a college soccer play so I am in decent shape, and I have never drank alcohol so that is not a factor. I was born with a pfo as an infant, but there has not been any detections in any murmurs since I was a child-i will be getting an echo to check on it next spring. I am wondering if you have any insight to what may be going on or any advice. Thank you!
