Hi ok so I am almost 15 years old it's night I will be straight up so since when I was a kid i've been facing trauma and all I can't explain so doctor prescribed me pills for anxiety and stress pills name dizeral cp fludac 10 flunil 10 past these day iv been suffering from obstructive sleep apnea at night I wake up with no oxygen but now I can't even sleep like when I sleep in first 1 min my heart rate goes like fast like so much fast and I can't breathe and that's so much scary.

Hi lybrate-user, probably you are suffering from anxiety disorder and the treatment was advised for same but it needs to be optimized further. You need to follow up with your psychiatrist and discuss regarding changing dose of propranolol (dizeral contains same, along with diazepam) to 40 mg per day, flunil or fludac to 20 mg per day. Obstructive sleep apnea is also related to anxiety disorder, they co-occurs in lots of people and improvement in one condition automatic brings relief in other.

dear lybrate user , the condition you are explaining looks like more of panic attack or panic disorder and medicines need to be optimised further and also relaxation techniques , breathing exercises will help.
