When I was 10 years old, I had a bike accident which caused serious injuries to my head. The injury has passed slowly but my memory is slowly getting weaker. Slowly I started forgetting small things, I thought it was nothing, slowly everything will be fine, but now it has increased a lot. Now I start forgetting things within 5-10 minutes. Can this be dangerous for me, is there any treatment for this, so that I do not forget further?

It could be a case on chronic brain infarct. Persons with incident brain infarcts decline faster in cognition and have an increased risk of dementia compared to those free of infarcts. Incident subcortical infarcts contribute more than cortical and cerebellar infarcts to incident dementia which may indicate that infarcts of small vessel disease origin contribute more to the development of dementia than infarcts of embolic origin in larger vessels. So consult a neurologist.
