I have got terrible pain in my left groin which is radiating through to my back and down my leg. Is this a sign of pid please.

Pain radiating down the leg is not good, it can have various causes. If you have tingling and numbness it could be due to nerve compression at the lower lumbar spine at some level .best will be to rest for 2/3 days and do ice pack, avoid bending or lifting weights. Also avoid doing any form of exercise though it be yoga. If it doesn't help consult an orthopaedic doctor.
