I have severe eczema and have been using steroid creams for a long time until I stopped using them some years back because it made my eczema worse and the condition is so bad. I have it on my face. I don't use to have it anywhere else but it grew on my genital area some years back and the condition of it is really severely bad. Its flaky, reddish and very dry, my doctor prescribed tacrolimus 1% but due to severe itching and burning he prescribed me 0.03% for sometime and told me to switch to 1% after some time. Although now the 0.03% isn't itching or burning on my face but on my genital area its still burning and itching alot like hell. Can someone suggest me something so it doesn't itch or burn so I can do a steroid free treatment. Some help would be great.

The burning sensation is a common side effect of tacrolimus. Do not worry. This side effect will go with continued treatment. U can apply a moisturizer or the genital area for relief.
