February 2022 ko cat bite ho gaya tha to hamne 5 dose ka schedule complete kiya tha uskae bad 5 month ke baad dog bite september 2022 ko 4 dose vaccine le liya uske baad 4 month baad january 2023 me 1 booster dose le liye to full protection kb tak milega sir abhi dog bite ho gaya sir.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user. Aap already rabies prophylaxis le chuke hain- toh agar apko abhi bite hua (ya future mein ho)- 2 scenarios: first ki it was superficial scratch and deep skin cut nahi hua- just clean the wound with water and antiseptic. Keep it clean and dry. Second scenario- deep skin cut hain (severe bite) - toh apko re-exposure prohylaxis lena hoga- 2 intramuscular injections, on day 0 and 3. No need to take rabies immunoglobulins. Also you should get tetanus shot agar apne last 5 years mein tetanus ka injection nahi lagwaya hain toh. You can consult me for further inquiries.
