Does acidity or gas increase hunger? How is this different from a diabetic feeling hungry? Can anyone explain how acidity increases hunger?

Acidity causes an uncomfortable sensation/burning sensation in your stomach, which gets relieved when you eat something. It does not increase your hunger directly but due to the above effect, it may cause you to develop a reaction subconsciously to eat as soon as you feel that burning sensation. If one has frequent acidity, may consult a physician or a gastroenterologist.
