I diagnosed pcos on 26 january 2023. I am taking novelon from 10 february 2023 after I had period on regestrone on 5 february2023. I completed my novelon pack on 3 rd march 2023 (i missed one tablet on 12 february 2023) and got bleeding from 9 march 2023 to 12 march 2023. I started a new novelon pack on 11 march 2023. I had my last pill of the pack on 31 march 2023 and I took beta hcg test on 1 april 2023. The value was 2.39miu/ml. I have pcos and irregular menses. My question is can novelon or regestrone cause false low beta hcg test results?

The beta hcg level at the moment is too low for a pregnancy. If novelon is taken correctly, there won't be a risk of pregnancy. But you should still monitor with another beta hcg after 48 hours to see any serial increase and consult a gynaecologist.
