Dear doctor seeking your valuable opinion and expert views on the high lymphocyte count equivalent to 44% as a finding in cbc report of a healthy adult, age 55 years, with no track of illness or any medical issue. However, last week, had mild cold and cough for 2-3 days which is not persistent now. Last year, about 10 months back, the report of cbc showed lymphocyte count as 39%. Is the increment in recent report of today any cause of worry, does it need further investigations or this should be ignored. Please elaborate regarding the above issue. Shall be highly grateful to you. Thanks and regards.
