Hi lybrate-user, I understand the challenges you have been facing and the impact it has had on your daily life since the passing of your father in 2009. The symptoms you have described, including unwanted thoughts, unstable mood, lack of concentration, and the diagnosis of bipolar disorder with ocd symptoms, indicate a significant emotional and mental health struggle. Based on the information you have shared, it seems like you have been experiencing ongoing difficulties despite receiving treatment from various doctors. This could be an indication that additional therapeutic support may be beneficial for you. I would recommend considering therapy as an avenue to address your current challenges and explore strategies for managing your symptoms. Therapy can provide you with a safe and supportive space to discuss your thoughts, emotions, and experiences related to your father's death and the subsequent impact on your mental health. A trained therapist can work collaboratively with you to develop coping mechanisms, improve your overall well-being, and help you regain a sense of enjoyment and engagement in life. They can also assist in identifying any underlying issues that may contribute to your symptoms and work towards creating a treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs. I encourage you to reach out to a mental health professional, such as a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist, who specializes in mood disorders and can provide the appropriate guidance and support. They will be able to conduct a thorough assessment, discuss treatment options, and work with you to develop a comprehensive plan that may include therapy in conjunction with any necessary medication adjustments. Remember, seeking help is a courageous step towards improving your mental health, and with the right support, it is possible to find relief and regain a sense of fulfillment in your life. In case of any qieries feel free to message me. Regards.
