I had gotten an injury on one of my knees probably a decade ago. Now the issue is when I press my knee cap through my fingers or when I kneel down it hurts a little. Is is an alarming situation? Since I am a student in 12 th and do not have time to go to doctor. Please tell me if the situation has to be treated right way or it can dealt with later.

Start doing quadricep and hamstring stretching exercise and apply ice afterwards for 15 minutes atleast for 5 days. If you feel swelling then also start applying voilini and if possible try to start 5-10 minutes cycling per day once pain subside.
