I am a 20 year old female. I got a fire burn on my left nipple unfortunately while working in the kitchen. At first I thought it would have faded off by time. My skin on the nipple turned black and I tried applying a burn cream (saibol) and still thought it would be fine but now I think it?s swelling up as the black skin peeled off and half of my nipple is white skin with that white substance in it. There is some discharge and discomfort along with pain as in it feels like something is poking me. I am scared if it destroyed my nerve endings or my nipple permanently. Please help me and ease me off my tension. I can attach a picture if necessary to show the damage.

You have not mentioned the timing of the incident. The resulting burn wound might have got infected or inflammed. You should see your doctor or preferably a general surgeon early, for proper inspection, diagnosis and medication. It may be a minor medical problem requiring proper medication and dressing.
