I'm 24 year old, every year I get suffered from typhoid twice, continuously from past 8 yrs. I tried many treatment recently doctor suggested - paracetamol, chloramphenicol, oflox tablets but still feel same weakness. I just want to get rid of this every year I can't focus on my carrier, goals etc because every time typhoid make me weak please help to get rid of this.

Very unusual to have typhoid fever so regularly for so many years when there are excellent medications, vaccination facilities to prevent these episodes. Typhoid is water borne disease caused by germs called salmonella typhi. This contamination is also preventable by adequate care about anything infected intake. Some persons are carriers meaning carrying germs in digestive tract which can also be detected. For any fever diagnosed and treated by your doctor as typhoid fever, be particular in proper tests carried out in reputed laboratory i.e. Widal test and blood culture test usually positive in second week of fever. Consult physician - md - internal medicine and infectious diseases.
