Hi there! I recently wanted to try and use a soap bar, and it gave me sort of an allergic reaction in my penis (in the penis head). But it eventually resolved with time. But a few days later I noticed a black border around my penis meatus that I haven't seen before. I'm not sexually active and it cannot be an std for sure. Could it be a scarring due to the allergic reaction? I need help regarding this. Can someone please help me?

I'm not a doctor, but I can try to provide some general information that may be helpful. It's possible that the allergic reaction you experienced to the soap bar caused irritation or inflammation in the sensitive skin of the penis head, known as the glans. The subsequent black border you noticed around the meatus could be a result of healing or changes in the skin due to the reaction. However, it's important to note that without a medical examination, it's difficult to determine the exact cause of the black border or rule out any other underlying conditions. If you're concerned about this issue, I strongly recommend seeking advice from a healthcare professional, such as a dermatologist or a urologist. They will be able to assess your symptoms properly and provide an accurate diagnosis, as well as recommend appropriate treatment options if necessary.
