I am 46 years old lady, today I have test of lft in which sgot 31 iu/l sgpt 59 iu/l total bilirubin 0.57 mg/dl conjugated (d. Bilirubin) 0.33 mg/dl unconjugated (i.d. Bilirubin) 0.24 mg/dl and haemoglobin 8.4 gm/dl here Dr. Prescribed me liv-pro syrup ursocol 300 mg pp6 please sir advise me for betterment and for good health. Thanking you sita rani delhi.

Ursocol is helping only if you are feeling itching or you have jaundice or gall stone forms many times. Better would be to test for hep b and c if you have never been tested and usg abdomen to find out if it is just fatty liver or not. If reports are normal, send me, I can give to liver protective medicine for recovery. But if any abnormalities found, treatment will be based on what we find. Still take - syears liv 52 5 ml bd for 1 month avoid fried foods and oil.
