Hi first we have to confirm beyond doubt the diagnosis of motor neuron disease by doing enmg test. If diagnosis is confirmed and there was no other cause found, then there is no definitive treatment which can improve or treat mnd. As he is already on riluzole, he needs to continue taking riluzole which may slow the disease progression marginally. Ivig is not found to be beneficial and at the moment there is no disease modifying treatment available for mnd,
