Admit him to a rehabilitation immediately. He should be admitted for at least 6 months and after that, he needs to be on continuous for at least three years in that condition. He will need to attend aa meetings in his town, and the family has to attend al-anon meetings too to work their own issues in relation to the alcoholic and be prepared how to handle his return.
