I have got two small spots below my lips. Dr. says it's vitiligo. He has given me tablet azoran 50 mg once a day. Also tablet melboost twice a day. There are no other spots any where else on my body. My question. I read the side effects of azoran and got scared. Please advise if I shld take these tablets. This Dr. is a dermatologist. Well known. I need second opinion before I start the meds.

The treatment of vitiligo mostly depends on the extent of involvement and whether it is stable or unstable. In some cases topical medicines suffice whereas in others, tablets or even surgical procedures may be needed. It is difficult to advise accurately without proper examination. Please consider direct consultation with a dermatologist.
