Planter fascitis can take time to heal normally it can take 6 weeks to 12 weeks. You need to follow precautions properly that is to wear sponge under heels or silicon heel pads. Never to walk with bare foot. Ice application can be helpful. For the arthritis part you need to get evaluated with esr and crp quantitative so that disease progression could be assessed and if there is need of any other medication to be added or dose adjustment to be done. Hope this information is helpful for further assistance can contact.
