Hello sir/mam, I am 17 years old and I have many problems related to health like I have allergy from sunlight and dust ,whenever I go from cold place to place with sunlight then I use to sneeze frequently about 8-9 times ,I also have problem in traveling in public buses and cars , after about 40-45 minutes I feel headache and vomiting. Can you please tell something that I can do! And I also suffer from motion sickness .I will be thankful for your suggestions . I have cough problems too all the times . My brother suffers from mouth ulcers throughout the year even medicine do not work . Please help me sir. Thanks to Lybrate.

Hi, as I understand, you have allergy/ motion sickness. Couple of things that you can do to overcome this are as follows: (a) use your right thumb and gently press the inner arm two finger widths down from your wrist crease. Hold it for a couple of minutes and release. It shall help get over the nauseatic feel. (b) smell fresh lemons when you get that nausea/ vomiting sensation during the journey. (c) take ginger/ peppermint tea before you get on the journey. (d) do not travel empty stomach. (e) do not attempt studying or looking at nearby things while the vehicle is in motion. (f) try taking a seat either in the front or in the middle at most. Avoid back seats till you get adjusted. (g) visualize pleasant things and distract your mind from negativities. Listen to some light soothing music when you get on the vehicle. (h) as regards your allergy issues, first and foremost try avoiding dust/ other allergens that you are sensitive to. Avoid moving in the sun especially if it causes allergy. (i) take 10 ml of bresol twice daily, after food, for 10 days. Then after, you can take a cup of warm water to which 1/4 tsp of fresh turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp lemon and a tsp of fresh honey is added, twice daily after food for the next 3 weeks or till your allergy issue improves. I hope the above-mentioned steps shall help alleviate your issues/ symptoms.
