Good morning sir. I am taking thyronorm 50 mcg at 7.30 a.m. At empty stomach. My doctor has prescribed pantocid 40 mg before food. After taking thyronorm at 7.30 a.m. I am taking breakfast at 8 a.m. My question is when should I take pantocid 40? Should I take 8 a.m. Before taking breakfast or should I take at 1.30 p.m. Before lunch? Kindly advise sir.

Hello, thanks for the quey. I have seen the query. I am sure your doctor has told you that pentaprazole needs to be taken at last 30 to 40 minutes before breakfast. So please take in that fashiom. As regards taking levothyroxine, it is better if that tablet is taken early morning say around 6 am, because it is necessary to avoid taking any food or drug for almost an hour. Thanks.
