Hello, I used to smoke. I started smoking in 2016 when I was 16 years old. Later in 2020 I stopped in lockdown and after that, did occasionally only until 2022. I started doing almost daily in 2022. I was doing it until jan of this year. I sometimes did 4-5 cig a day and sometimes not even one. I stopped doing smoking now with a fear of oral cancer. All of my friends smoke. Is it okay to sit with them in a smoking cafe or place? I read somewhere that second hand smoke can cause cancer. I am starting to do regular exercise but what about oral cancer? I will not smoke with them for at least a year now.

Quitting smoking is a significant step towards reducing your risk of oral cancer. While second-hand smoke can indeed pose risks, focusing on detoxification and tissue healing through remedies such as calendula (for tissue repair) and nux vomica (for detoxification) can be supportive.

Passive smoking is dangerous but much less dangerous than active smoking. Better maintain a distance. Good luck.
