Hi doctor, I am 35 weeks pregnant went through a color doppler today, POG is 33 weeks by scan with 2190 gm weight and had a single loop of cord in neck. I want to know the risk involved also why baby is 33 weeks and not 35 by scan.

Dear Lybrate user, By this time range between actual gestation by dates and on ultrasound may vary to a range of 3 weeks. So, POG of 33 weeks with scan is likely to be in normal range. One has to take into consideration the gestation noted at first scan done in first trimester.
