My Son of 10 years age is having some allergy in which he is having itching problem with small rash on whole body. It is more at night. One doctor suggested scabies and given treatment for that but didn't work. Another skin specialist suggested to have IGE test. The result was 1380g which is much higher than the range. Now she advised to go for a comprehensive allergy test which is costing a huge amount. Could anybody suggest some other test of diagnose. He is also have big rashes problem many time earlier during winters maybe because of temperature change or woolen clothes. Pls suggest asap.

Hello lybrate-user there is no need to go for the allergy test. In many cases no allergen can be identified even with this test. Even if you found the problem causing agent then also the doctor will suggest to keep your son away from that thing (food item, dust, pollen or any other thing). The best option is to give complete homoeopathic treatment as we can cure allergies easily without the need of having these tests. After treatment the itching and rashes will go permanently.
