Hello, I am thyroid patient my TSH is 6. My weight is 80 kg. Problem is that my stomach is ache around liver area. My doctor advised to take. Thyrox-125 mg (empty stomach) Lanson D (empty stomach) Tinilox-mps (2 times in a day) I am having this medicine from 7-8 days. But liver ache problem is not solving. Please suggest me.

Mr. Lybrate-user, probably your doctor may have thought that there is amoebic infection, hence the tinilox mps prescription. The other drug is to take care of gastric irritation which tinilox mps may cause. As regards the pain in" liver area" you may get lft (liver function test) done to see if there is any problem with that organ. Since you are on treatment for hypothyroidism then tsh should be between 3 to 4 mu/l, to be free from all symptoms of hypothyroidism. So do get a tsh test done. If you want any clarification do come back with the above mentioned test results. Thanks.
