I have taken amoxyclav 600 and cough syrup but still the cough is not going away ,can you suggest me better medicine I think Gala ha huya ha.

Mr. Lybrate-user, amoxyclav 625 should be taken 3 tablets a day for at least 5 days or longer to get complete relief from any infection including tonsillitis, pharyngitis etc. Another thing to be remembered is that cough usually takes a bit longer to go away. There is no need to change or another antibiotic. Thanks.
