My niece is 10 years old. She is suffering from Celiac disease (detected when she was 5). Doctors said that there is no as such treatment for this & he advised her to strictly avoid wheat, barley etc for the lifetime. But as a child she is quite stubborn.

Only treatment of celiac disease in strictly avoid foods that contain gluten (including wheat, rye, barley, and oats). Dropping gluten from your diet usually improves the condition within a few days and eventually ends the symptoms of the disease. In most cases, the villi are healed within six months. There are many gluten free diet available, you have to train child for this, you can take help of dietitian.
