Doctor suggest me for a ankle surgery for snapping perineal tendon. But I am very afraid of taking a surgery. I am very tensed after doctor said me I need a surgery. Now I am unable to concentrate in any thing, even in my studies. What should I do? Pls help.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Surgery related anxiety and tension is common with every individual irrespective of age or gender. Therefore don't give much importance to this tension. Understand that such tension is normal and will be there till surgery. I suggest mindfulness meditation. Take care
