Hello. My son is suffering from allergies and cough problem, his age is 8.5 year. Esr is high and getting a little swelling under eyes and in body too. Please suggest a permanent solution.

Mr. lybrate-user, If he has allergy leading to cough, then care should be taken to avoid repeated exposure to those things which cause allergy. Sometimes allergic reaction does lead to swelling under the eyes. There is no permanent solution to allergy. Whenever severe allergy occurs it should be controlled with relevant drugs. But most important is to avoid repeated exposure. Thanks.

The best way to deal with allergies is to avoid the allergens. Any episode like the present one can be dealt with cetirizine or other antiallergic drugs. Warm regards.
