As said walking is best exercise for diabetic and that too for 35 minutes, whether the walk should be a brisk walk or do I need to walk fastly and is it necessary that I should also sweat during that walk and whether that walk can be at any time during the day or it has to be in morning only.

Mr. lybrate-user, Any exercise is good for a diabetic person. Why walking is proposed is because it is the easiest exercise. At least 30 minutes per day X 5 days is a minimum requirement. But if some one does more, that is definitely better as he/she can burn more calories and reduce more blood glucose. Brisk walk for 30 minutes only helps loose some sweat. Fat is not lost. If one wants to loose fat, reduce weight then more vigorous exercise is required. Any time is best time. Thanks.

Walk must be brisk not too fast not too slow. And your diet must be planned accordingly. Eat every 2-3 hrs. You can have rice or rotis Roti in the day but eat proteins at night and reduce rotis or rice at dinner.

Yes, walk is very good fod sugar patient .u will walk any time atleast 30 to 45 min. U will feel healthy that time you will do brisk walk. If you will feel tired that time you will do normal walk .but keep monitoring your sugar levels. Take plenty of fluids.
