I am suffering from Spinal stenosis on D11-D12-L1 since last 10 years. Due to this I have weakness in both legs. I have also numbness in feet. I have problem in dorsiflexion and aversion of feet due to nerve weakness. So I can not up my feet like foot drop. I am taking medicine regularly but no relief. Dr. told for surgery. Please tell me risk of surgery.

Sir, since you already have onset of neurological compromise, it is better to undergo surgery as soon as possible to get some benefit.

Dear condition you mentioned must be specify. Grades mild a moderate severe. Up to certain extent Pt usually tolerant. Unless motor power-bowl-bladder dysfunction ensue. In your Case motor as well as sensory affected. Now other two I had mentioned are likely to be see in onwards progression. You're going to get Best results with minimal invasive surgery hopefully.
